SURF - Extruded
I found myself exploring with variations of color and context in the last year (22') as I collated 1000's of photographs into temporary files. This led me to the singleness of a surfer on a wave and our perceptions. Each photograph is a story of space and precise decisions, usually in moving mountains of water.
As I explored different results, I realized the simplistic complexity of color and dimensions. A. I. compresses, re-figures and determines outcomes that require patience. Much like waiting for the next set, I push a few key strokes and the timing of seconds multiplies... into minutes and distributes a pattern of contemporary structure that takes the photograph beyond natures rules.
In a way...it reflects our capacity to overcome challenges and life decisions, that reflect our purpose.
A quote to ponder in this life...
"When you stay on purpose and refuse to be discouraged by fear, you align with the infinite self, in which all possibilities exist." - Dr. Wayne Dyer
He sounds like a surfer I know....
